The start of the new year saw a long-awaited pick up in macro sentiment and an impressive rally in digital asset prices. Bitcoin and Ethereum outperformed by 37% and 33% respectively, lifting the total crypto market cap above $1 trillion.

The rapid recovery was driven by a combination of reduced spot token supply, CEX custody outflows and subdued crypto miner selling, as well as the pick-up in demand due to China reopening and peak Fed rates narrative. The upcoming Ethereum upgrade (Shanghai) provided additional catalysts for liquid staking derivatives (LSDs) and Layer 2 scaling token price rallied. As usual, the pace and magnitude of the crypto market recovery caught many investors off guard with significant capital still side-lined.

However, the trend of institutional crypto adoption is most impeded by the regulatory uncertainty and access to reliable blockchain infrastructure. Whilst the regulatory landscape is evolving at its own pace, the significant challenge of operational complexity remains at the forefront of institutional crypto investor concerns. These institutions are forced to rely on unreliable infrastructure, fragmented vendors and disparate venues. This places a huge operational burden on institutions and prevents an efficient allocation of side-lined capital.

This is why from day one we have been focused on building a trusted API-first blockchain infrastructure layer and all-in-one platform for institutional digital asset investors. Built on experience, Haruko’s vertically-integrated portfolio and risk management solution combines the best financial industry practices with cutting-edge blockchain technology. We aim to simplify and aggregate access to CeFi venues and DeFi protocols in all-in-one platform – enabling seamless, safe and reliable access to the growing digital asset opportunities.

    Improved Haruko UI

Over the past month, we have been busy building the best-in-class reporting and risk management tools to help you seamlessly stay on top of your digital asset portfolio.

In your latest Haruko upgrade, we have delivered a more intuitive dashboard UI with improved usability and feature enhancements, empowering you to better control your portfolio risk with Haruko and focus on alpha discovery.

    Detailed P&L and risk reporting

You can now unlock new insights with the addition of trading metrics in your P&L dashboard to track average prices and trading volumes.

Seamlessly view and generate reports of your aggregated CeFi and DeFi risk exposure in our new risk pivot screen, enabling greater flexibility to access your historical exposure and performance data.

    Advanced on-chain decoding

We have enhanced our on-chain reporting capabilities, providing you with new tools to see a reliable view of your historical on-chain asset exposures, covering a wide range of token types, protocols and advanced transaction types.

    Enhanced API connectivity

As an API-first product, we are continuing to expand our API endpoint connectivity across CeFi and DeFi.

Haruko’s new data aggregation API endpoints enable you to capture data from multiple CeFi venue accounts as well as query data by address through multiple new on-chain endpoints.

We hope these new features and UI improvements will make it even easier to stay on top of your digital asset exposure and risk, accessed in real-time and all in one place.
