    LONDON, UK – 26 June 2024

Haruko, a leading provider of digital asset technology solutions for institutions, announced today its integration with BitGo, the leading infrastructure provider of digital asset solutions for businesses, offering custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing and settlement, to improve portfolio and risk management for digital assets.

This integration allows mutual clients of BitGo and Haruko to gain real-time, direct access to their BitGo activity through Haruko’s institutional-grade portfolio and risk management platform. This seamless connectivity enables institutions to receive an aggregated view of their BitGo deployment activity and securely held digital assets at the same time as leveraging Haruko’s comprehensive solution for current and historical pricing, risk and P&L reporting.

“The integration of BitGo with Haruko further enhances the exceptional visibility of our assets, aggregating portfolio positions and risk metrics across multiple liquidity venues and counterparties. This centralised approach has resulted in more efficient and robust management of our treasury and counterparty risk exposure,” said Louis LaValle, Managing Director of 3iQ.

Echoing these benefits, Shamyl Malik, co-founder and CEO of Haruko, highlights the value of partnering with BitGo. This collaboration not only enhances transparency and control for clients but complements 3iQ’s strengthened risk and portfolio management capabilities.

“We are delighted to partner with BitGo and integrate their industry-leading regulated custodian and deployment capabilities with our robust risk and portfolio management solutions. This partnership provides our clients with greater transparency and control over their assets and strengthens our offering of allowing clients to deploy capital with confidence in the space,” said Malik.

Sharing this sentiment, Nick Coombs, Director of Institutional Sales at BitGo, emphasised that combining BitGo’s secure custody and deployment solutions with Haruko’s risk management capabilities creates an unparalleled ecosystem of financial tools for clients.

“By partnering with Haruko and integrating with their sophisticated portfolio and risk management solutions for institutional investors, we’re building an ecosystem with best-in-class financial tools for our clients. BitGo’s full-suite secure custody and deployment solutions, combined with the risk management capabilities of Haruko offers unparalleled control and oversight for deploying capital in digital assets,” said Coombs.

    About Komainu

BitGo provides the most secure and scalable solutions for the digital asset economy, offering regulated custody, borrowing and lending, and core infrastructure to investors and builders alike.

Founded in 2013 — the early days of crypto — BitGo pioneered the multi-signature wallet and later built TSS to improve upon other companies’ MPC offerings. Between multi-sig and TSS, BitGo offers the safest technology on the market and safeguards over 800 tokens across a wide variety of blockchains.

Over the years, BitGo has expanded from offering wallets into providing a full-suite solution that lets clients hold assets safely and then put them to work.

BitGo launched BitGo Trust Company in 2018, providing fully regulated, qualified cold storage to complement BitGo Inc’s original hot wallet solution. In 2020, BitGo launched BitGo Prime, which allows its clients to trade, borrow, and lend. Moreover, BitGo also provides access to DeFi, staking, NFT wallets, and beyond, and serves as the world’s sole custodian for WBTC, or wrapped Bitcoin.

Today, BitGo is the leader in digital asset security, custody, and liquidity, providing the operational backbone for more than 700 institutional clients in over 50 countries — a list that includes many regulated entities and the world’s top cryptocurrency exchanges and platforms. BitGo also processes approximately 20% of all global Bitcoin transactions by value.
